Bra Care tip

Warning: This entry *does* contain some pictures of my very own bras, so if you’re a close friend of mine and you do not wish to know what my unmentionables look like, then it would be a good idea for you to stop reading now.

Hello, Ladies! Since I can’t afford one of these BraBaby things, but I don’t want to wear wadded up bras, I decided to do a little searching around my house for something I could use to help my bras keep their shape while air drying. Here’s what I found! Ta-da!

It’s a bucket of balls!

Are you impressed? I wear cotton bras mostly, so a lot of creasing and wadding can happen. When I put a wadded cotton bra on, it makes my boobs look all dimpled and disfigured. Not attractive. So I tried hanging up a fresh-from-the-washing-machine bra with a couple of balls in the cups, and voila! Here. Look at the subtle differences-

Left: air dried with no balls. Right: air dried with balls

So, there ya go. A little bit of bra advice from me to you! Whatever you may decide to start using to help your bras maintain their shape while they are hanging up to dry, I hope it works out for you! I’ll leave you with a couple more photos. May the bras be *ever* in your favor!

See the dent? It’s subtle, but under a shirt, it looks bad.

Sorry this site is so ugly right now. It will be getting a facelift by my web designer hubby at some point when he’s not too swamped with work. I love that man : )
